#VaccinesWork – approaching #WorldImmunisationWeek let’s celebrate nurses and midwives, vaccine champions

The most common vaccines, such as those for diphtheria, measles, tetanus and pertussis, have been in use for decades. Millions of people receive them safely every year. The whole world is holding its breath for the development of a vaccine for Covid-19 – it’s times like these that we really appreciate our precious scientific researchers and find ourselves in need of international collaboration and information-sharing more than ever.
